This weekend, I didn’t plan on (but ended up) doing the following things:
- watching The Bank Job and hanging out with the almost-new housemate.
- cleaning the fridge. (next weekend: the freezer)
- breaking a glass shelf from the fridge into tiny little pieces by dropping it into hot water.
- holding the hands of many, many people – as I checked their IDs & stamped them to get into the WUGC beer garden.
- skipping the WUGC party to watch Battlestar Galactica, a show I have previously had no desire to see.
- watching four back-to-back episodes of Battlestar Galactica.
- going to Tomato’s for lunch.
- saying yes to two separate dares during the span of lunch.
- reading Portugese Irregular Verbs.
- napping on the couch. Oh, glorious couch.
- watching four more episodes of Battlestar Galactica, which brings me up to the end of the 3rd season. And now we know 4 of the Final 5!!! (ah ha ha ha – as if I even know/care!)
Well, vacation time has started. Hurrah for that. My time off will include:
- reading The Chronicles of Narnia
- visiting cool cousins
- sight-seeing in small town Ontario
- busker festival in Kingston
- visiting Grandma
- visiting West-coast-housemate-friend-coworker-extraordinaire and Flloyd the cat
- too much driving in a non-AC car
- sleep
- replacing the shirts that have been ruined in the last week
- viewing the Mamma Mia premiere after my return to Vancouver!
- fun times with Vancouver friends!
Today’s plans:
7am: pay for a student’s airport shuttle
8am: up again
8:15: breakfast with Charlotte & Meredith. I love these girls.
9:15: still hanging out with Charlotte & Meredith.
10am: blog
10:15: paint my toenails with Jen & daughter
10:30: off to the coffee shop with Jen
noon: Asian lunch with Jen
afternoon: shop with Jen
suppertime: babysit for Jen
evening: watch a movie? read a book? something of the sort.
